Any foreign visitors wishing to enter the Republic of Korea must have a valid passport and obtain a Korean visa before the visitation. However, people of 99 countries who wish to visit Korea temporarily are permitted to enter without a visa according to visa-exemption agreements or in accordance with principles reciprocity or national interest.
For more and detailed information on Visa, please visit the website of Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Visa processing can take anywhere from a day to a few weeks, depending on the country. We advise to start the visa process at the latest two months before the conference.
It is the responsibility of the participant to review his/her visa status and determine whether they need a visa or visa renewal for entering the country where the conference is hosted. Furthermore it is up to the participant to pay any related fees, find out how to schedule an interview appointment and other instructions for the application process.
Please note that Visa letters will be only issued to:
-Accepted authors who have paid their registration fee in full;
-Invited guests and speakers;
-Persons know to the committee members;
For details that apply specifically to your country please visit a website of the nearest Consulate or Embassy of the country hosting the event.
